Bolo baos, or pineapple baos  菠蘿包 aren't actually made with any pineapple at all. These deceiving buns are made with fluffy milk bread and the sugary top crust gives it the appearance of a pineapple. Paired with an egg tart, these are popular in Hong Kong bakeries in Chinatowns worldwide.
